Party games on Android TV and Google TV
Read the Room is eighteen party games for Android TV and Google TV. Install it from Google Play on any set or streaming box that has the Play Store, and the remote you already have is the controller: nothing to plug in, nothing to pair, and nothing for guests to install.
What it runs on
Any television or streaming box that runs Android TV or Google TV and has the Google Play Store, on Android 6 or newer. If you can search Google Play on the television, you can install Read the Room on it.
Getting it onto the television
On the television, open Google Play and search for Read the Room. Or, on a phone or computer signed in with the Google account the television uses, open the Play page and choose the television as the place to install it. Nobody else in the room installs anything.

When a game wants a phone
Seven games use phones, and only for what a phone is good at: holding a secret word, or a pen. The television shows a QR code, and scanning it opens the game in the phone's browser. Guests install nothing and make no account. The television and the phones both need an internet connection; they do not have to share a network.

Free to try, then one plan
Eight of the eighteen games are free to try, each with a real slice of the game: no card, no account. A monthly, yearly or once-for-life plan unlocks every game, including games added later. It follows your Google account, not the television, so a new set is one "I already paid" away.
Questions
Do I need a gamepad or any other controller?
No. Every game works with the remote you already have. The games that use phones add phones as an extra, not a controller to buy.
Do guests need an account?
No. Not for the games with phones and not for the ones without. Read the Room has no accounts at all, and no ads.
What if my television is not Android TV or Google TV?
Read the Room is for Android TV and Google TV today. The foot of the home page has a form that takes one email address and sends one email when it reaches more devices.
Can I see every game?
Yes: all eighteen are on one page, with who each is for and what it needs.
